Next Gen Skills Hub was founded on a simple conviction: that every young person, regardless of their background or neurodivergence, has the capacity to grow, connect, and contribute — when given the right conditions.
Our methodology draws on Theatre of the Oppressed, developed by Augusto Boal, which uses participatory drama to explore social dynamics, build empathy, and rehearse change. We combine this with a deep, evidence-based understanding of neurodiversity, SEMH needs, and inclusive educational practice.
We work across Greater Manchester and beyond — with schools, multi-academy trusts, local authorities, alternative provision settings, and charitable organisations. We bring our workshops to you, making participation easy and convenient in a familiar setting, without the need for additional travel. Every programme is co-designed with the setting, ensuring relevance, sustainability, and genuine impact.
