With over ten years of experience in mainstream education, Lisa Brandreth, founder of Next Gen Skills Hub, has seen first-hand the challenges facing both learners and teachers. In classrooms, students often become disengaged, struggling to see the value of what they are being taught, while teachers face growing difficulties with attention spans, rising mental health concerns, and an increasing number of learners with special educational needs.
Recognising that education needs to evolve, Lisa founded Next Gen Skills Hub with a clear mission: to prepare young people for the realities of a fast-changing, tech-driven world. The approach focuses on three foundational nodes:
Next Gen Skills Hub leads a human-centered, forward-thinking approach to learning in a digital age. As society becomes more digitised, essential qualities such as empathy, communication, creativity, and resilience risk being overlooked. Through accessible, hands-on programs, Lisa and her team help learners develop practical skills from understanding and leveraging AI tools to launching online ventures, and building self confidence and social communication skills in real-world settings.
Next Gen Skills Hub aims to empower learners to become independent problem-solvers who are adaptable, innovative, and future-ready, equipped not just to navigate a technology-driven world, but to actively shape it.
